A cigar is definitely on the top of my "guilty pleasures" list. I enjoy a cigar or two every few months, but this is enough to cause a slight, but manageable, internal struggle.
Why? Well, because I am a PhD student in Cancer Biology. Ironic, isn't it?
I do not think a cigar or two every month or so is too bad for you. I convince myself that I am giving my cells practice on getting rid of carcinogens... plus, I don't inhale.
In addition to the flavor and the aroma of cigars that I love so much, it is an extremely relaxing experience... If it were not for a cigar, when else would I relax for about an hour, clear my thoughts and let my mind wander. I usually grab my notepad and jot down ideas while smoking a cigar. It is amazing how many great ideas I think of when I sit down, relax, smoke a cigar, and think... but I digress.
